The promoter of this competition is Paace Ltd, a company incorporated in England and Wales ("Paace", "we", "us", "our"). By entering the competition, entrants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

2. Competition Period

The competition runs from 00:00 on 1 July 2026 to 23:59 on 31 July 2026 ("Competition Period"). Entries submitted outside this window will not be valid. The prize draw will take place on 1 August 2026.

3. Eligibility

To be eligible to enter, participants must:

  1. be aged 18 or over at the time of entry;

  2. be a resident of the United Kingdom; and

  3. have joined the July Challenge within the Paace app during the Competition Period.

Employees of Paace Ltd and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.

4. How to Enter

Eligible participants will accumulate entries during the Competition Period as follows:

  1. 1 entry for reaching the monthly step target of 250,000 steps during the Competition Period;

  2. 1 entry for each eligible friend referred to Paace during the Competition Period (see clause 5 for referral eligibility); and

  3. 5 entries for holding an active Paace+ subscription. To qualify for these entries, the participant must hold an active Paace+ subscription at the time of the draw on 1 August 2026. Paace+ subscriptions that have lapsed, been cancelled, or are in a free trial period at the time of the draw will not qualify for these 5 entries.

There is no limit on the total number of entries a participant may accumulate. Entries are non-transferable.

5. Referral Entries

A referral entry is awarded where a participant refers a new user to Paace during the Competition Period using the participant's unique referral link or code, and the referred user creates a new Paace account. Referrals to existing Paace users do not qualify. Paace reserves the right to disqualify referral entries it reasonably suspects have been generated fraudulently or by artificial means.

6. Prize

The total prize pool for the July 2026 competition is £1,000 (one thousand pounds sterling) ("Prize"). The Prize will be awarded to one winner selected by random draw. The Prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered, save that Paace reserves the right to substitute a prize of equivalent or greater value if circumstances beyond its control make the original prize unavailable.

7. Draw and Winner Selection

The prize draw will take place on 1 August 2026. The winner will be selected by random draw from all valid entries accumulated during the Competition Period. The draw will be conducted using a verifiably random method. The decision of Paace is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

8. Winner Notification and Prize Fulfilment

The winner will be notified via the contact details associated with their Paace account within 5 working days of the draw. The winner must respond within 14 days of notification to claim their prize. Failure to respond within this period may result in forfeiture and Paace reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

The Prize will be paid by bank transfer to a UK bank account nominated by the winner. Paace may require the winner to provide proof of identity and bank account ownership before payment is made. Paace will not be liable for any bank charges incurred by the winner in connection with receipt of the Prize.

9. Disqualification

Paace reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:

  1. provides false or misleading information in connection with the competition;

  2. tampers with or attempts to manipulate the entry process;

  3. acts in a way that Paace reasonably considers to be fraudulent, abusive, or contrary to these terms; or

  4. has not fulfilled the eligibility requirements set out in clause 3.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Paace accepts no responsibility for:

  1. entries that are lost, misdirected, or fail to reach Paace for any reason;

  2. technical errors or failures affecting entry or the draw;

  3. any loss or damage arising from participation in or inability to participate in the competition; or

  4. events outside Paace’s reasonable control that affect the running of the competition.

Nothing in these terms shall limit Paace’s liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation.

11. Data Protection

Personal data provided in connection with this competition will be processed by Paace Ltd in accordance with its Privacy Policy, available at www.paace.app. Personal data will be used solely for the purpose of administering the competition and fulfilling the prize. By entering, participants consent to Paace contacting them for these purposes.

12. Publicity

By entering, participants agree that Paace may use their first name, last initial, and general location for promotional purposes in connection with the competition result, without further compensation. If participants object to such use, they should contact Paace at [contact email] before the end of the Competition Period.

13. General

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising in connection with this competition shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
